You’re intelligent and high-achieving, and you’ve worked really hard to get where you’re at in your life. On paper, your life looks great. Yet on the inside, you feel stuck.

The dream job that you always wanted no longer feels ideal, now that you’ve been in it for a while and are fully aware of the day-to-day realities. You want connection, but you and your partner are frequently picking fights with one another. On top of everything else, life no longer feels affordable, creating even more stress and strain.

You come home each day, hoping to get a break from the exhaustion of work, only to feel stressed by your home life as well. This isn’t the life you signed up for.

Your brain has always worked well for you, helping you to achieve, analyze, solve problems, and come out on the other side. It’s been the primary tool in your toolbox your entire life, one that’s always been reliable. And yet this time, you feel like you’re spinning around on the hamster wheel without finding any helpful answers or insights.

You want things to be different. You want things to change. Yet you don’t know how to make that happen, and it’s not for a lack of trying. You feel anxious and stuck, unable to see the path forward toward the life that you want - one filled with ease, accomplishment, fulfillment, connection, and joy.

Hi, I’m Amanda.

I provide therapy and counseling to ambitious and high-achieving professionals who feel stuck in the anxiety and overwhelm of life transitions, such as navigating a career change, going through a divorce, or moving to a new area.

Through counseling, you can learn how to:

  • Gain insight and clarity into the underlying issues that you’re experiencing so that things feel less muddy and unclear.

  • Develop additional tools in the toolbox, ones that will be more helpful for your current struggles.

  • Take steps that will move you out of your stuckness and towards your values and goals.

  • Build trust in yourself so that you can feel more confident in your decision-making.

  • Move beyond surviving into thriving.

Life doesn’t have to be an endless series of Groundhog’s Days. There are many different pathways forward, but no matter which one you take, you can absolutely create the meaningful and fulfilling life that you're looking for.

Online Counseling Across Indiana

My therapy practice is entirely telehealth, great for people who prefer to have counseling from the comfort of their own space.

It's also a great option for busy professionals who want to avoid the commute and save time during their day.

Although I’m based in Bloomington, telehealth allows me to see therapy clients across the state of Indiana.
