Online Counseling
When COVID hit, many of my clients had never experienced therapy online before. The shift to telehealth was quick and jarring, and at first, we all wished for the ability to meet in person again.
And yet, as telehealth continued far longer than expected, many people (including myself) began to notice the unexpected benefits:
Time – With no need to drive to an office, find parking, or carve out extra time in the workday, therapy fit more seamlessly into their lives.
Childcare – Parents could have their kids nearby or occupied in another room, eliminating the stress and cost of finding a babysitter.
Health – Those with chronic health issues could conserve their energy for the things that mattered most instead of spending it on the logistics of getting to an appointment.
Comfort – For those who found therapy vulnerable or intimidating, being in their own space provided an added layer of security.
Convenience – Logging into a session from home or the office made therapy easier to fit into already full days.
Online counseling has become an incredibly valuable option for so many people, and I’m grateful to offer it as a way to make therapy more accessible and supportive.
If you're interested in exploring whether telehealth might be a good fit for you, I’d be happy to talk more. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect.
